HOW TO LEVEL FLOOR APARTMENT INDEPENDENT
In any rooms and apartments, the person’s gaze involuntarily sinks to the floor. This is due to the natural human reflex, since looking at your feet is one of the most important aspects of safety. Beautiful and smooth flooring without roughness and irregularities will be the key to comfort and coziness. In view of this, special attention should be paid to the flooring, and prior to laying the parquet, linoleum or laminate flooring, a preliminary leveling of its surface is required.

Concrete screed
Concrete screed can be used both in urban apartments and in private homes. It is made on the basis of sand and standard cement in a ratio of 3: 1 or 4: 1 (depending on the intended load). The main advantage of this material is its durability and high strength. In addition, the performance of work in this case does not require special construction skills.
Production of concrete screed is carried out in two stages. First you need to install the beacons on the level, then fill the floor with the prepared composition and smooth it over the surface. The entire area of the room should be poured in one day.

Self-leveling compounds
Self-leveling compounds are used to create a perfectly level floor. With their help sand or concrete coverings can be leveled. The principle of operation of such compositions is based on the law of gravity.
It is quite simple to work with such materials – it is enough to dilute the dry powder with water in the specific proportions indicated in the instructions and pour the resulting solution onto the surface. To make the mixture better seeped into all cracks and cavities, it is recommended to widen them beforehand with a chisel.
Leveling using plywood
Plywood leveling technology is one of the most traditional and proven over the years. This material can simply be glued to a concrete base or strengthened with dowels or anchors.
If you need to make a floor from scratch, you must first install wooden logs on the level and sew plywood sheets on them. In this case, ordinary screws – self-tapping screws are used as fasteners. It should be remembered that plywood is a moisture-sensitive material, so before starting work it is important to ensure good waterproofing.

How to measure the level of the floor
The choice of leveling technology depends on the degree of curvature of the floor, which can be determined by the following devices:
Construction level – usually applied only in small spaces.
Hydro level – allows you to take measurements on large areas with a minimum error. When filling the device with water, it is impossible to allow the working tube to become airtight, since this adversely affects the operation of the instrument and the reliability of the obtained measurement results.
Laser level – is simple and easy to use. The use of such devices greatly simplifies and shortens the measuring process, due to their versatility.
The level is a geodetic instrument, the work with which requires special knowledge and skills, therefore it is used, as a rule, only in large-scale construction.
